WebMail provides
e-mail accounts under a hosted domain. The term "webmail"
refers to e-mail that is accessible on a standard web browser (e.g. Netscape
Navigator or Internet Explorer). This allows customers with domain names to
read their e-mail messages by either using popular POP3 email clients (such as
Microsoft Outlook or Qualcomm Eudora) or by logging into WebMail under
their domain (that is, www.<domain_name>/webmail). E-mail messages can
also be stored and filed online through the WebMail interface or brought down to
the local computer by using the e-mail client
application.
WebMail's Interface
The user interface
is completely user-friendly with easy-to-use on-line help. Further,
the WebMail interface is designed for use by everyone from the e-mail
newbie to the small business owner. POP3 e-mail users within a domain are able
to access and send e-mail messages from any web browser. They can
also store messages on the mail server instead of always downloading to a
local desktop e-mail client.
Main Features
Some of
WebMail's main features include:
WebMail is available to all UNIX
shared hosting accounts except accounts on parked
servers.
